Baby Corn
Baby corn belongs to the maize family and the cereal grain is harvested when they are small in size and immature. They are hand picked and since they mature quickly, one has to have an understanding as to when to harvest. It is usually pale yellow, to off white in color depending on the variety and is sold in bunches.

Our notes
Baby corn is small, averaging 1 to 2 centimeters in diameter and 4 to 10 centimeters in length, and has a straight and slender cylindrical shape with slight tapering toward the ends of the ear. When sold fresh, Baby corn can be found encased in its green husk, or it can be sold shucked.
The product is packed either as pre–pack or loose-pack in a polypropylene punnet, a polyethylene bag or cardboard box depending on customer requirements The product may be packed as a pure line or together with other products in twin packs or triple packs depending on the customer specifications
